Today, we take a scenic domestic flight from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar (approximately 40–50 minutes), offering stunning aerial views of the eastern Himalayas. Upon landing, we meet our trekking crew and begin a jeep drive to Chichila (1,900m), a small village and the starting point of our trek. The drive takes around 4 to 5 hours, passing through terraced hills, forests, and rural settlements. Once in Chichila, we settle into a local lodge or campsite and prepare for the days of trekking ahead through the remote Makalu-Barun region.

After breakfast in Chichila, we begin our first day of trekking with a scenic hike to Num (1,500m). The trail leads us through lush subtropical forests, terraced fields, and small rural settlements inhabited by Rai and Sherpa communities. The day begins very early (often around 2-3 AM) with a steep climb over rocky and icy terrain to reach the Amphu Laptsa Pass, a high and technical crossing that may require fixed ropes, crampons, harnesses, and guidance from experienced climbing staff. The ascent is steep, and the descent on the other side toward the Imja Valley is equally demanding, often involving abseiling or carefully descending fixed lines. Today we complete the final leg of our trekking journey as we head from Monjo back to Lukla. The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River through familiar villages like Phakding and Ghat, with gentle ascents and descents along the way. It's a day to reflect on the adventure as we pass through pine forests, cross suspension bridges, and soak in the last views of the Khumbu region. After about 4 to 5 hours of trekking, we arrive in Lukla (2,860m), where we celebrate the completion of a challenging and rewarding journey with our team. In the evening, we enjoy a well-earned rest in Lukla, ready for our flight back to Kathmandu the next morning.

This morning, we take an early flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu, a scenic 30–35 minute journey offering one last aerial view of the Himalayan peaks. Weather permitting, we depart from Lukla Airport and arrive in Kathmandu, where you'll be transferred to your hotel. After days in the mountains, the return to the bustling city marks the end of an unforgettable adventure. The rest of the day is free for rest, shopping, or exploring the vibrant streets of Thamel at your own pace.
