Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will warmly welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to your hotel in the heart of the city. After check-in and a chance to freshen up, we’ll meet for a detailed trek briefing where you’ll be introduced to your guide and go over the final preparations for the Tashi Lapcha adventure. This is also the perfect time to ask any last-minute questions and ensure all permits and gear are in order before we set off into the Himalayas.

After an early breakfast in Kathmandu, we embark on a scenic drive to Jagat, the starting point of our trek. The journey takes approximately 8–9 hours, winding through lush hills, terraced farms, and traditional villages along the banks of the Bhote Koshi River. As we leave the bustle of the city behind, the road gradually becomes more rugged, offering glimpses of rural Nepal and the towering peaks ahead. Upon arrival in Jagat, a small village nestled in the Rolwaling region, we settle in for the night and prepare to begin our trek the next morning.

Today, we begin our trekking journey with a hike from Jagat to Simigaun, which takes about 5-6 hours. The trail follows the Bhote Koshi River, passing through dense forests, scattered villages, and terraced fields. We cross several suspension bridges and climb steadily, enjoying beautiful views of waterfalls and distant snow-capped peaks. As we ascend, the landscape gradually changes, and we start to notice the influence of Tibetan culture. Simigaun is a picturesque Sherpa village perched on a ridge, offering stunning views of Gauri Shankar (7,145m). We spend the night here, immersed in the peaceful mountain atmosphere.

Leaving Simigaun after breakfast, we begin our trek toward Gyalchen, a lesser known but scenic stop along the Rolwaling Valley. The trail ascends gradually through lush rhododendron and pine forests, with occasional steep sections and rocky terrain. As we gain altitude, the air becomes cooler, and the landscape more rugged and remote. We pass scattered herder shelters and may encounter yak caravans or locals on the move. After about 6-7 hours of trekking, we reach Gyalchen, a small settlement or campsite area nestled amidst the valley's wild beauty. Tonight, we rest under the stars, surrounded by pristine Himalayan silence.

Today’s trek from Gyalchen to Beding takes around 5-6 hours and leads us deeper into the heart of the Rolwaling Valley. The trail follows the banks of the Rolwaling River, winding through dense forests and crossing alpine meadows dotted with mani walls and prayer flags. As we trek higher, the valley opens up, revealing breathtaking views of Gauri Shankar and surrounding peaks. Upon arrival, we reach Beding (3,690m), the largest and most significant Sherpa village in the valley. Rich in Buddhist culture, Beding is home to an ancient monastery and offers a rare glimpse into the traditional high-Himalayan way of life. We spend the night here, soaking in the peaceful mountain ambiance and preparing for the higher elevations ahead.

After breakfast, we trek from Beding to Na Gaun, a scenic route nestled deep within the Rolwaling Valley. As we guide you through lush forests, along glacial rivers, and past ancient monasteries, you’ll witness the serene beauty of untouched Himalayan landscapes. The journey from Beding, the largest settlement in the valley, to the high-altitude village of Na Gaun is a gradual ascent surrounded by towering peaks, including Gauri Shankar. We ensure a safe and immersive experience, with plenty of time to acclimatize and connect with the rich Sherpa culture along the way.

We spend an acclimatization day at Na Gaun to help your body adjust to the altitude and ensure a safe and enjoyable trek ahead. Nestled at around 4,200 meters, Na Gaun offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and glaciers, making it a perfect spot to rest and explore. During the day, we take light hikes around the village, perhaps to the nearby Yalung Ri base camp or along the river to keep active while aiding acclimatization. It’s also a great opportunity to interact with the local Sherpa community and soak in the peaceful, remote atmosphere of this high-altitude haven.

The trek to Tsho Rolpa Lake is one of the most breathtaking highlights of our journey. Starting from Na Gaun, we follow a rugged yet rewarding trail that winds through glacial moraines, rocky paths, and high alpine terrain. As we ascend gradually, the towering peaks of the Rolwaling range rise dramatically around us. After several hours of trekking, we reach the stunning Tsho Rolpa Lake, one of the largest glacial lakes in Nepal, shimmering in shades of turquoise beneath the ice-capped mountains. We take time to absorb the awe-inspiring beauty, rest, and capture memories before retracing our steps or continuing toward higher adventure.

We dedicate an acclimatization day at Tsho Rolpa to help you adapt to the high altitude and prepare for any further ascent. At over 4,500 meters, the air is thinner, so it’s essential to rest while staying gently active. We take short hikes around the lake and nearby ridges, offering incredible views of the surrounding glaciers and peaks, including Melungtse and Gauri Shankar. This day also allows you to fully appreciate the raw beauty and silence of this remote alpine environment. Our team monitors your health closely, ensuring you're well-acclimatized and ready for the next stage of the journey.

The trek to Tsho Rolpa Phedi marks a challenging yet thrilling part of our journey. Leaving the serene Tsho Rolpa Lake behind, we follow a rugged trail that gradually climbs through rocky terrain and glacial landscapes toward the base of the pass. The route demands careful footing and steady pacing as we navigate moraines and steep sections, but the surrounding views of towering peaks and vast ice fields keep the spirit high. Upon reaching Phedi, our campsite sits nestled beneath dramatic cliffs and snow-covered ridges, offering a stark, majestic beauty. We rest here, preparing for the crossing ahead while taking in the raw power of the high Himalayas.

We take an important acclimatization day at Tsho Rolpa Phedi to ensure everyone is physically ready for the high-altitude pass ahead. Situated at the foot of the glacier, Phedi offers the perfect location to rest and adapt to the thin mountain air. During the day, we take light hikes around the area, allowing your body to adjust gradually while minimizing the risk of altitude sickness. Our guides closely monitor your health and provide hydration and rest tips. Surrounded by towering ice walls and glacial ridges, this day also gives you time to absorb the striking landscape and mentally prepare for the challenging ascent to come.

The trek to Ngole via Tashi Lapcha Pass is one of the most demanding and rewarding sections of our journey. We start early from Phedi, ascending steeply over rocky and icy terrain toward the high Tashi Lapcha Pass, which stands at an elevation of around 5,755 meters. The climb is challenging, often requiring the use of ropes and crampons depending on conditions, but the views from the top are absolutely spectacular panoramas of both the Rolwaling and Khumbu regions unfold before us. After reaching the pass, we carefully descend onto the Khumbu side, navigating through snowfields and rocky trails until we reach Ngole, a remote campsite surrounded by rugged peaks. It’s a long, tough day, but one filled with unforgettable alpine beauty and a true sense of achievement. Our experienced team ensures your safety and provides full support throughout this high-altitude crossing.

The trek to Thame from Ngole marks a gradual return to lower altitudes and the beginning of our descent into the Khumbu region. We follow a well-established trail that winds through high alpine landscapes, past yak pastures, and beneath towering Himalayan peaks. As we lose elevation, the air becomes thicker and the terrain greener, offering a welcome change after the stark, glacial environment of the pass. Reaching Thame, a beautiful Sherpa village rich in culture and tradition, feels like a warm embrace. It’s home to one of the oldest monasteries in the region and has a deep spiritual significance. We rest here for the night, taking time to explore the village, interact with locals, and reflect on the incredible journey across the Tashi Lapcha Pass.

The trek to Namche Bazaar from Thame is a scenic and culturally rich journey that brings us deeper into the heart of the Khumbu region. We follow a well-trodden trail that gently descends through pine forests, past mani walls, chortens, and traditional Sherpa villages. Along the way, we’re treated to stunning views of Kongde Ri, Kusum Kanguru, and, as we approach Namche, our first glimpses of Everest and Ama Dablam on clear days. After a few hours of trekking, we arrive at Namche Bazaar, the vibrant hub of the Everest region. Bustling with trekkers, local traders, and colorful markets, Namche offers a welcome blend of comfort and culture. Here, we rest, enjoy the cafes and shops, and celebrate the successful crossing of Tashi Lapcha and the completion of this incredible adventure.

The trek to Lukla from Namche Bazaar marks the final leg of our unforgettable journey. We descend steadily along the Dudh Koshi River, retracing our steps through the charming villages of Monjo, Phakding, and several suspension bridges draped with prayer flags. The trail, though familiar, offers a new perspective as we walk through lush forests and past terraced fields, soaking in the last views of the towering peaks behind us. After several hours of trekking, we reach Lukla, a small mountain town perched on the hillside and home to one of the most iconic airstrips in the world. Here, we rest for the night, share stories, and reflect on the incredible adventure from Rolwaling to the Everest region, before our flight back to Kathmandu.

After a great overnight stay at Lukla, we will start getting ready for our flight back to Kathmandu.This final night in Kathmandu represents a great opportunity to purchase some last-minute souvenirs and enjoy some fine dining at one of the city’s many great restaurants.

On the final day, we transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu for your departure flight back to your home country. Our team ensures a smooth and timely transfer, assisting with any last-minute needs or arrangements. As you leave Nepal, you carry with your unforgettable memories, from the quiet trails of Rolwaling and the high crossing of Tashi Lapcha Pass to the vibrant heart of the Khumbu.
