After check-in, you’ll have time to relax and recover from your journey. In the evening, we’ll host a briefing session to go over the trek itinerary, introduce your guide, and answer any last-minute questions. This is also a great time to check your gear and make any final preparations before we begin our adventure into the Himalayas.

After breakfast in Kathmandu, we begin our journey with a scenic drive to Bhalche Gaon, the starting point of our trek. The drive takes approximately 6 to 7 hours, heading north through picturesque countryside, terraced fields, and traditional villages. As we ascend into the Nuwakot region, the road becomes more rugged, offering a glimpse of rural Nepal away from the busy tourist trails. Upon arrival at Bhalche Gaon (around 2,000m), a peaceful Tamang village nestled in the hills, we settle in for the evening, enjoy local hospitality, and prepare for the days of trekking ahead.

Today we begin our trek with a steady ascent from Bhalche Gaon to Rupchet, a beautiful highland pasture used by local herders. The trail climbs gradually through lush forests of rhododendron and pine, with occasional clearings offering panoramic views of the surrounding hills and distant Himalayan peaks. As we gain elevation, the landscape becomes more open, and the air cooler and crisper. After 4 to 5 hours of trekking, we arrive at Rupchet (around 3,850m), one of the highest yak grazing meadows in the region. We set up camp here and enjoy a peaceful night under the stars, with stunning views and a sense of true wilderness.

Today is one of the most scenic and rewarding days of the trek as we make our way from Rupchet to Pang Sang Pass (approx. 3,850m), crossing the stunning Singla Pass along the way. We begin early with a steady uphill climb, traversing alpine meadows and rocky ridgelines. As we approach Singla Pass (around 4,050m), we are rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Manaslu, and even distant glimpses of Annapurna on a clear day. After enjoying time at the pass, we continue along the ridge toward Pang Sang Pass, another incredible viewpoint that offers wide Himalayan vistas and a peaceful alpine atmosphere. The trek takes 6 to 7 hours, and we camp near the pass or descend slightly depending on weather and group condition.

After enjoying a peaceful morning at or near Pang Sang Pass, we begin our descent toward the beautiful village of Chalish. The trail leads us down through lush forests, terraced hillsides, and traditional Tamang settlements, offering a pleasant change in landscape as we drop to lower elevations. Along the way, we pass through remote villages where locals warmly greet us, giving a glimpse into daily life in the Ganesh Himal region. After 5 to 6 hours of trekking, we reach Chalish (approx. 1,650m), a welcoming village known for its rich culture and warm hospitality. We spend the night here, enjoying local food and interacting with the community in a peaceful rural setting.

We begin our trek to Hindung from the charming village of Chalish, gradually ascending through terraced fields, lush forests, and traditional Tamang settlements. As we guide you along the serene trails, the views of the Ganesh Himal range open up, offering breathtaking backdrops at every turn. The path, though moderately challenging, is rich in natural beauty and cultural encounters, with opportunities to interact with locals and witness their daily life. By the time we reach Hindung, a peaceful and less-traveled village nestled in the hills, you’ll feel both refreshed and deeply connected to the heart of rural Nepal.

The next day, we continue our journey with a scenic trek from Hindung to Thulo Dhunga. This stretch takes around 4 to 5 hours as we steadily ascend through dense rhododendron and bamboo forests, gradually entering alpine terrain. Along the way, we may spot wildlife such as Himalayan bharal, wild boar, and various bird species. As we reach Thulo Dhunga, situated at around 3,337 meters, we’re welcomed by open grasslands and serene surroundings, an ideal spot to rest and acclimatize before heading toward the base camp.

The following day, we leave Thulo Dhunga behind and make our way toward the Ganesh Himal Base Camp, also known as Nojet Kharka. This leg of the trek takes approximately 5 to 6 hours and involves a gradual but steady ascent through high alpine pastures and rocky terrain. As we gain elevation, the landscape opens up, offering expansive views of the surrounding mountains, including the majestic Ganesh Himal range. Upon reaching the base camp at around 3,691 meters, we’re greeted by a breathtaking setting surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Nearby, sacred lakes like Kalo Kunda and Seto Kunda add to the spiritual and natural beauty of the area. We settle in here for the night, taking time to rest and soak in the tranquil atmosphere before exploring further the next day.

The next day, we spend time exploring the stunning surroundings of Ganesh Himal Base Camp. Nestled at an altitude of approximately 3,691 meters, this peaceful alpine haven offers spectacular panoramic views of Ganesh Himal, Paldor Peak, and other neighboring summits. We take a short hike to visit the sacred lakes, Kalo Kunda (Black Lake) and Seto Kunda (White Lake) which hold deep spiritual significance for local communities. If weather permits, we ascend to nearby viewpoints like Dobra Danda for even more dramatic vistas of the Himalayan landscape. This acclimatization and exploration day allows us to fully absorb the beauty and serenity of the region before we begin our descent.

After a memorable stay at Ganesh Himal Base Camp, we begin our descent toward Kharka. The trail takes us through high-altitude meadows and forested ridges, retracing part of our earlier route while offering new perspectives of the mountains we've come to know. The trek takes around 5 to 6 hours and is mostly downhill, but still requires steady footing as we navigate rocky and occasionally steep sections. As we descend, the landscape gradually shifts back into dense forest, and we may once again encounter local wildlife along the way. Upon reaching Kharka, a peaceful grazing area surrounded by forest, we settle in for a restful night in this quiet and remote setting.

The next morning, we continue our journey with a scenic trek from Kharka to Ganesh Kunda. This section takes about 4 to 5 hours and leads us through enchanting forest trails, open pastures, and gently rising terrain. As we gain altitude, the trail offers glimpses of the Ganesh Himal range and surrounding valleys. Ganesh Kunda, a sacred alpine lake nestled in a serene mountain setting, holds religious significance for locals and is believed to be blessed by Lord Ganesh. Upon arrival, we take time to explore the area, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, and soak in the spiritual energy of this hidden gem before settling in for the evening.

The following day, we begin our descent from Ganesh Kunda to Tatopani, a journey that takes approximately 5 to 6 hours. The trail winds down through dense forests, terraced hillsides, and small settlements, offering a rich variety of landscapes and a gradual return to lower altitudes. As we approach Tatopani, the air becomes warmer and the vegetation more lush. Upon arrival, we’re rewarded with a relaxing soak in the natural hot springs that give the village its name Tatopani, meaning "hot water" in Nepali. This is the perfect place to rest our legs and rejuvenate after several days of high-altitude trekking.

From Tatopani, we begin our final stretch of the trek as we make our way to Lapa Gaon. This descent takes approximately 5 to 6 hours, following forested paths, terraced farmlands, and occasional small settlements. As we lose elevation, the surroundings become warmer and more cultivated, with increasing signs of daily village life. Lapa Gaon, a traditional Tamang village nestled in the hills of Dhading District, welcomes us with its warm hospitality, rich culture, and scenic mountain views. Upon arrival, we settle in and take time to explore the village, interact with locals, and reflect on the incredible journey through the Ganesh Himal region.

From Lapa Gaon, the trek to Magne Goth Pass is a moderately challenging hike that typically takes around 4 to 5 hours. The trail ascends steadily through dense rhododendron forests and terraced fields, offering beautiful views of the surrounding hills and valleys. As you approach Magne Goth Pass, located at approximately 2,936 meters (9,633 feet), you’ll be rewarded with panoramic vistas of the Ganesh Himal range and the Ruby Valley below. This pass is notable for its nearby ruby mining areas, giving trekkers a unique glimpse into local mining culture. After reaching the pass, you can take time to rest and enjoy the scenery before continuing your trek.

From Magne Goth, the trek to Tinsure is a rewarding descent through lush forests and terraced fields. The trail covers roughly 10 to 12 kilometers and typically takes about 5 to 6 hours, depending on your pace. As you make your way down from the pass, you’ll pass through charming villages, enjoy scenic views of the surrounding hills, and experience the local rural lifestyle. Tinsure is a small, welcoming village that often serves as a rest stop or gateway for trekkers exploring the Ruby Valley and Ganesh Himal region. This stretch of the trek offers a peaceful atmosphere and a chance to immerse yourself in Nepal’s natural beauty.

From Magne Goth, we begin a scenic trek descending through lush rhododendron forests and terraced farmland toward Lapu Danda. This journey takes about 5 to 6 hours, offering a peaceful walk amid vibrant flora and traditional villages. Along the way, trekkers can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys, experience local rural life, and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Lapu Danda, a charming Brahmin village nestled at around 1,250 meters, provides a warm and comfortable place to rest after the day’s trek, making it an ideal stop before continuing onward.

From Lapu Danda, we begin with a short trek descending through terraced farmland and forested paths for about 1 to 2 hours until we reach the main road near Gorkha. From there, the journey continues by jeep or bus as we drive through winding mountain roads toward Gorkha town, known for its rich history and stunning views. After a break in Gorkha, we continue the drive through lush valleys and scattered villages to Dhading Besi. From Dhading Besi, the final leg of the drive takes us through the scenic hills surrounding Kathmandu Valley before arriving in the city. Overall, this journey combines a brief trekking section with several hours of road travel, typically taking around 6 to 7 hours in total depending on road conditions.
